libglib2.0-tests software package provides GLib library of C routines - installed tests, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libglib2.0-tests
libglib2.0-tests is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libglib2.0-tests package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libglib2.0-tests *
You will get with libglib2.0-tests package name, version, architecture and description in a table
